Ballarat will be the newest host to a fresh one-day festival, Strummingbird, in October this year. The modern country music festival, which launched to great acclaim in 2025, will land in Victoria Park on 10 October 2026. It features an impressive list of local and international music acts across one day – spanning modern country to country-themed DJ sets and line-dancing. With more than 30,000 visitors expected and millions in economic benefit for local businesses, accommodation and hospitality, the festival is set to be a huge weekend for Ballarat.
