nbn® has recently announced the successful deployment of one of Australia’s largest internet upgrades, with over 9.8 million homes and businesses now eligible for faster broadband under the Accelerate Great program.
The network changes have accelerated wholesale speeds across selected Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) plans, supporting growing demand for streaming, remote work, online learning, and cloud tools.
Phone and internet providers are now integrating the changes to make the accelerated speeds available to their customers. For most eligible customers on applicable plans, the upgrade will be automatic.
To get the full benefit of the faster speeds, customers are also advised to check their home internet setup.
