Laminex has been a proud Australian manufacturer for over 90 years, supporting local industry, providing economic and social benefits to local communities, and contributing to sustainable practices. During that time, we’ve grown from a tin shed in Melbourne to multiple large-scale manufacturing plants in city and country locations right around Australia.

Celebrating it’s 55th year of operation in 2025, the Ballarat factory is a key part of the Laminex portfolio, treating decorative papers and manufacturing a wide range of decorative board products at the Trewin St site. Across the railway line in Gregory St West we produce doors and panels, as well as a range of benchtop solutions and Cut-to-Size Compact laminate.
