The Western Renewables Link (WRL) Local Business Support Program is a partnership between WRL and Commerce Ballarat, providing free one-on-one support to eligible local businesses along the WRL route to build capability, strengthen business readiness and prepare for future opportunities.
If your application is successful, you may be eligible to receive up to four hours of one-on-one support from a local support provider matched to your business needs and goals. Support areas are outlined later in this application form.
Who can apply?
Businesses located within the following local government areas are eligible to apply:
City of Ballarat
Pyrenees Shire
Northern Grampians Shire
Moorabool Shire
Hepburn Shire
Ararat Rural City
Melton City
eg. size, industry, age, ethos.
This information will be used to ensure an appropriate assistance provider. Eg. review of a particular grant submission, create a social media marketing strategy, receive advice regarding an employment contact, review and implement improvement to your customer service.
Once you submit your application, we will begin the assessment process. Please note each EOI is assessed individually to ensure eligibility and suitability for the program.
