Rix Cars is a locally owned and operated business providing practical automotive solutions in Ballarat and across Western Victoria.

As an authorised Avis licensee since 1997 and a Budget licensee since 2015, we specialise in short to medium term vehicle rental, including cars, trucks, minibuses and 4x4s. We also offer our well-maintained ex rental fleet for sale directly to the public. (LMCT 9238).

Our network covers the western corridor of Victoria, including Ballarat, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Caroline Springs, Footscray, Hamilton, Horsham, Kyneton, Maryborough, Melton & Mildura.

We focus on fair pricing, reliable vehicles and straightforward service. With a wide range of late model options available across our locations, you can find the right vehicle for work or travel, seven days a week.

The Ballarat Women’s Fund is a giving circle membership model where each member can vote on how the funds raised are used to address the significant issues women face in Ballarat resulting from gendered violence, domestic or family violence, access to safe and affordable housing, or equal opportunities in the workforce. On March 6th, the Pick Our Project event will take place to hear the pitches of three shortlisted projects tackling issues against women, with members voting to select the recipient of a $30,000 grant. Joining prior to the date of this event will ensure you can have your say in how crucial funds and resources are paired. For more information, head here.
