Ballarat local Doug Sarah OAM supported many charitable and not for profit causes during his lifetime (1940-2024) and wished to continue that philanthropy after his death. Each year a round of grants will be shared for groups working in the Ballarat Community in the following areas: domestic and family violence, homelessness, hunger relief, preservation and promotion of the history of Ballarat, visual and performing arts, mental health, youth education and apprenticeships.
