Committee for Ballarat are delighted to announce the appointment of Felicia Mariani as Chair Elect, with the transition taking place at the AGM on 14 October 2025. Felicia will succeed George Fong, who has served as Chair for more than three years. “Felicia has led the Victoria Tourism Industry Council for 7.5 years, representing over 1,100 members in Victoria’s $40 billion visitor economy. Her experience and fresh perspective come at a critical time for our region, with Vision 2050 guiding our future,” George Fong said.

Felicia is excited by the appointment. “I’m honoured to follow George and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside him to ensure a smooth transition. This is an exciting time to join a forward-thinking Board committed to shaping Ballarat’s future.
