Fifteen Trees (est 2009) is a social enterprise that helps businesses operate more sustainably by supporting community-based tree planting projects across Australia.
We can reduce the carbon footprint of fleets (15 trees per vehicle), flights (1 tree per hour in the air), events (1 tree per attendee), electricity and paper usage. Plus organise corporate tree planting days.
Once the trees are planted, our website is updated with details about the project —where the trees are planted, what species are used, who planted them, plus photos and stories from the planting day. Companies are welcome to use this content in their own marketing, including social media, newsletters, and website.
Those planting the trees, bring local knowledge and expertise, ensuring trees are planted at the right time of year (typically winter) and are well-suited to the region. This approach leads to a high success rate and promotes biodiversity. Indigenous plantings also encourage native wildlife, helping to establish self-sustaining ecosystems.
