SUMMARY:Western Renewables Link - Meet the Builder Events
DESCRIPTION:This August\, the Western Renewables Link (WRL) project will host a series of free Meet the Builder Events in Melton\, Creswick\, Stawell and Lexton. \nWRL is committed to creating opportunities for local businesses across the seven local government areas along the project route to participate in project delivery. \nRegional suppliers\, Traditional Owner and First Nations businesses\, social enterprises and small to medium businesses in western Victoria are invited to attend the events\, which are an opportunity to meet the WRL project team and delivery partner\, Acciona Genus Joint Venture (AGJV). \nAttendees will hear about current and upcoming WRL work packages and learn how they could potentially become a supplier to the project if it proceeds to construction. \nMelton – Tuesday 4 August\, 4-6pm\nCreswick – Wednesday 5 August\, 4-6pm\nStawell – Thursday 6 August\, 12-2pm\nLexton – Thursday 6 August\, 4-6pm \nAttendance is free\, but registration is required via the website: https://www.westernrenewableslink.com.au/opportunities/businesses-and-suppliers/#meet-the-builders-events \nRegistration will close on 3 August 2026.
