Building on the success of the inaugural Summit held in Melbourne earlier this year, we anticipate an audience of 200 business leaders, male and female from medium businesses with representation from both public and private sectors.

Event Background:
The impacts of sexual harassment can be profound and lasting. It is estimated that approximately 1 in 5 Australian women have experienced sexual harassment in their workplace in the past 5 years and that up to 50% of incidents go unreported. 59% of employees experiencing sexual harassment will suffer from long term consequences, including stress, anxiety and negative mental health outcomes. The costs for business of poor mental health in a workplace are significant in terms of absenteeism and loss of productivity. Damage extends also to staff morale, community attitudes and commercial reputation.
