Seminar overview
With most business investments, you can specify in some detail your requirements; however when it comes to establishing an online
presence, many businesses put themselves entirely in the hands of others.
You can, and you should, take control of this valuable investment. Developing a clear vision and effective online digital strategy that accurately reflects your business requirements is essential. One of the strongest communication tools available to a business today is its website. Gerry Gaffney will discuss the ways to ensure your online presence is a natural extension of your business requirements and will reveal some tips to take control.

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale [BIFB] is on the hunt for potential exhibition venues.
The BIFB09 Core Program exhibitions are pretty much locked in at all the major venues in the Arts and Culture precinct. We now have many photographers seeking possible exhibition space for the Fringe Program, which will take place throughout the City of Ballarat and environs as well as the Hepburn Shire towns of Creswick, Clunes, Daylesford and Trentham. Do you have a space, large or small, which may be suitable for hosting a photographic exhibition for the period Sept 4 to Oct 4 2009? Fringe exhibition venues need to be accessible to our viewing public for a reasonable number of hours per week, must have their own public liability insurance and need to undergo a risk assessment review to be listed as a BIFB09 venue. We are interested in everything from cafes, restaurants and pubs, to community halls, vacant warehouses, etc. etc. You supply the space, the artists supply the work, and the BIFB supplies signage, publicity and audience. If you think your business can benefit from a large increase in traffic through its doors in September 2009, please call on 5331 4833.
