A B31 Ballarat Business Month event presented by Butler Chartered Accountants

Understanding and making a decision of when to sell can often be one of the toughest decisions for a business owner to make. However, when faced with the challenge, many businesses fail to put in an effective plan to maximise the value of their blood sweat and tears. Further, people fail to take into account the value of their business when looking at their balance sheet. This is in spite of the fact that the business may be one of their most valuable assets. Consequently, putting in place an effective succession plan and making informed decisions about when or if a sale is required should be paramount in the strategic planning
process. This seminar aims to assist in providing you with some options on preparing your business for sale. It will use real case studies to illustrate the problems associated with succession planning and how a successful transaction can be effected.
