Being a Successful NOT for Profit from a very different angle
A thought provoking and dynamic workshop for all NFP's. This session will center around the word PROFIT for all not for profits. It is well known the mindset of Profit often derails NFP's from using simple business, marketing and sales models to make a profit that will eventually deliver the outcomes of the chosen NFP's cause.
This session will be different. It will involve a story about MAN, A DOG and a DISEASE to demonstrate and workshop:
What is PROFIT really for a NFP?
What it takes to build PROFIT for good that benefits the community
The trap that is 'Committee-itis'
The foundation business models we can use to build a successful NFP business
The simple tools we can use to implement our plan
The development on the day of a simple business execution plan based on a 90 day model
The MAN for this session will be our resident Sales Scientist, Mike Boyle who as part of his business, Banjar Group, donates around 30 days a year to working with a NFP to improve their business and PROFIT. He will facilitate this session. In doing so he will unwrap what he has facilitated with a local NFP in Bendigo.
That NFP is the DOG and that dog is Righteous Pups from Bendigo. We will be joined on the day by the CEO of this amazing NFP Joanne Baker and hear her story of how they have built this amazing group. Jo has spoken at TEDX Bendigo and has a ripping story and message to share. You never know we may just meet one of the pups on the day!
The DISEASE is Autism. Righteous Pups develops and trains Autistic care and assistance dogs.
Join us to hear the REAL story around the challenges, breakthroughs and realities of building a sustainable BUSINESS inside a non for profit. Get some top tips and hear a wonderful story about how it can be done.
