Presented by the Central Highlands Regional Partnership and Health Futures Australia

Cost: FREE (bookings essential)

Invitation to join other business leaders to hear speaker Marty Jovic from PwC share his insights on the cost of obesity to our economy and benefits of intervention. Proudly brought to you by the Central Highlands Regional Partnership - ‘Prevention Lab’ - Leadership Series.

Marty Jovic is a national thought leader and author behind the landmark report “Weighing the Costs of Obesity: A case for action” PwC, 2015. Marty is calling for an urgent national approach to the prevention of obesity. Marty will be joined by a panel of regional business leaders sharing their insights on the action we can all take to tackle the burden of obesity on our local prosperity and economy.

Across the Central Highlands, one in four adults are obese; one in three adults are overweight and only one in ten are getting enough nutrition from their diet. A quarter of our children are an unhealthy weight, setting our kids up for a lifetime of health troubles.

This impacts our families, community and businesses, and our regions productivity
