The presenter, Laura Mattiazzi, is Senior Agribusiness Manager, Asia Desk at National Australia Bank (NAB), has enjoyed an 18 years banking career across Asia and Australia.

Her banking career started with Bank of China, China and Daoheng Bank (now DBS) in Hong Kong. Laura was tertiary educated in China and completed her Postgraduate Degree in Finance at RMIT University in Melbourne with High Distinction.

Since joining NAB , she has worked in the Business Banking division in Melbourne, including as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Asian Business Banking Centre dealing with inbound property developers from Asia, particularly China market.

Laura is passionate about Asian business in Australia and this passion has taken her to join NAB Agribusiness last year to cultivate the rising demand for both trade activities to Asia and inbound capital flow into the Australian agricultural sector.

As Senior Manager, NAB Agribusiness Asia Desk, Laura assisted clients connecting and trading with Asia as well as on boarding inbound investors into the agribusiness sector.

Since inception, Laura has assisted NAB's clients to increase trade with China in UHT milk, wines, edible flowers, livestock, grain and red meat.

She also assisted NAB bankers to on board a number of overseas investors who have invested in sheep farms, meat processing plants, wineries and dairy.

In addition, Laura is heavily involved in various M&A activities by partnering with local legal, accounting and advisory firms.
