Do you know someone who has made positive life changes to improve their heart health and wants to inspire others?

The Heart Foundation will be encouraging Ballarat to take steps towards a healthier heart this Heart Week, from 3-9 May 2015. Working closely with local organisations and groups, the Heart Foundation is planning a range of Heart Week activities. They include free Heart Health Checks at various locations across Ballarat and a large community walk. To assist in promoting Heart Week, we are looking for local people who have made positive lifestyle changes to improve their heart health and would like to share their story with the community through the media, the Heart Foundation’s website, or by speaking at a community event. Perhaps they have started exercising regularly, stopped smoking, or achieved a healthy weight by eating well and exercising - we want to hear from them! If you or someone you know would be willing to share their story to inspire others improve their heart health, please contact Sarah Terry, Media and Communications Advisor on email .

Administrative Professionals Breakfast

Employers from all over Ballarat and our region have the opportunity to say THANK YOU to the men and women who are the backbones of their businesses:  giving their administration staff the chance to be pampered, inspired and indulged at this annual breakfast. The Breakfast is an extremely popular event that helps support the wider community; all proceeds go towards the work of United Way Ballarat and the programs we in turn provide funding for.
