Richard has spent 30 years in the automotive industry in both Australia and South East Asia and held senior sales & marketing roles with Land Rover, Mitsubishi and Mercedes-Benz in Australia and spent time in Singapore with Audi AG as a Senior Country Manager responsible for Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan and South Korea.

He was educated at Ballarat Clarendon College, where he was School Captain in 1982. He and his family (Wife Fiona and 3 children) returned to live in Ballarat 6 years ago.

RU Advertising, were this week awarded in not one, but two categories at the Aus App & Mobile Design Awards in Sydney. The first win of the night was in the In Field Services category with the On-site Civil Solutions App, CivilWorks. RU Advertising were also awarded in the Productivity category for the Bendix Brake Pad Identifier App which uses mobile phone photography, combined with augmented reality, to identify brake pads. Congratulations RU!

RU Advertising’s Craig Willian has again embarked on the RMHC Victorian Ride for Sick Kids.

With a goal this year to surpass his 2013 fundraising total, and raise $5000 much needed funds for Ronald McDonald Charities, Mr Willian will ride 500km through remote, picturesque and at times challenge terrain throughout Victoria. Craig said that "At RU Advertising we don’t like to ask for handouts, actually it’s totally the opposite, over a 15 year period we have donated copious amounts of our time, money and services. However if people are even able to donate just a small amount, together we can make a great difference for many families," To donate please visit the fundraising page here

Blossom Connect band together to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

Louise Jones, Owner of Blossom Connect and her family are raising money for MND in memory of her grandfather who died of Motor Neurone Disease in 1991, after 23 years there is still no cure or treatment. Louise’s family jumped on the Ice Wagon and show Ballarat what the Ice Challenge is really about. They aimed to raise $1,000 for MND Victoria, and are already $840 of the way there.
