Details: Did you know that Victoria's new Equal Opportunity Act has changed, introducing a Positive Duty for employers and service providers to address discrimination before it happens??

Managers and others with supervisory responsibilities undertake a wide range of duties that have a direct influence on workplace culture and the productivity of staff. Learn how to carry out your people-management responsibilities to improve effectiveness and foster an inclusive culture.
The workshop will:

•identify potential risk factors for discrimination and sexual harassment in a range of common people-management practices and processes
•explore actions that leaders can take to build teamwork and fosters a participatory and inclusive workplace culture
•help you identify when and how to address potentially inappropriate workplace behaviours
•review steps for early intervention to prevent or resolve workplace issues before they become formal complaints.
